Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welder Assembly Specialist to join our team at Forum Energy Technologies. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling and repairing various types of oilfield products, including skidded packages and piping systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble multiple components into completed skidded packages
  • Select fabrication equipment and plan layout, assembly, and welding procedures
  • Bolt, clamp, and tack-weld parts to secure in position for welding
  • Repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts
  • Assemble piping on skidded vessels, threaded/non-threaded
  • Measure and pipe wrench threaded pipe
  • Set-up and run RT & UT Quality Vessel Weld Processes
  • Set-up and run RT Quality Pipe Weld - All Positions
  • Set-up and run UT Quality Nozzle Welds - All positions
  • Clean and stamp all welds
  • Set-up and run all structural non-code welds
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent diploma
  • Successful completion of welding tests and qualifications
  • 6+ months of welding experience preferred
