Assembly Welder

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Welder to join our team at Forum Energy Technologies. As an Assembly Welder, you will be responsible for assembling and repairing various types of oilfield products, including skidded packages, under minimal supervision.

• Assembly and Repair: Assemble multiple components into completed skidded packages, and repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts.
• Fabrication and Welding: Select fabrication equipment and plan layout, assembly, and welding procedures, and bolt, clamp, and tack-weld parts to secure in position for welding.
• Quality Control: Perform visual and in-process inspections in accordance with API and ISO quality specifications, and help facilitate the team in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and solving welding problems.

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent diploma.
• Experience: 6+ months of welding experience preferred.
• Skills: Strong understanding of how to interpret and use blueprints, welding specifications, and welding procedures, and ability to use and read welding measuring devices.
