We are currently seeking a Principal Level Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) to become an integral part of our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough industrial hygiene assessments, including exposure monitoring, hazard evaluations, and risk assessments.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies and control measures aimed at mitigating occupational health risks and preventing workplace injuries and illnesses.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate industrial hygiene principles into organizational policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in industrial hygiene and occupational health to continuously enhance programs and initiatives.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical, engineering, or science-related field with a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree in a similar field with at least 7 years of relevant experience; or currently or previously Shift Supervisor Part II qualified; or qualified SIT with 3 years EOOW qualified in the Nuclear Operations Program; and must possess Certified Industrial Hygienist certification.

Additionally, candidates should have knowledge of regulatory requirements in 29 CFR 1910 and/or 29 CFR 1926 (OSHA), as well as national safety consensus standards (ANSI, NFPA). Experience with industrial hygiene monitoring equipment is essential.

Skills:

Strong analytical and technical writing skills are required.
