Job Summary:

LIFE SURGE is seeking a dedicated Student Support Specialist to provide exceptional support to our users. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the satisfaction and success of our students by providing timely and effective support through various communication channels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively welcome new students and guide them through a seamless admissions experience
  • Deliver prompt and professional responses to students via phone, email, text chat, live chat, and other communication means
  • Troubleshoot, evaluate, resolve, and triage calls and support issues according to company guidelines
  • Support student access to applicable platforms, including online student communities and online student classes
  • Provide support for online classroom components, such as event management, recordings, instructor support, and software setup
  • Offer feedback on the quality of online instructor delivery
  • Input data into student support tracking systems or CRM relative to online education and student support
  • Support reporting requests for management and continuously seek opportunities to enhance customer support processes and procedures
Requirements:
  • Work-related experience in customer service, contact centers, customer support, and database administration
  • Computer proficiency, including Windows PC, Internet Navigation, CRM Experience (HubSpot, etc.), and Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • A desire to support students and apply critical thinking to resolve their issues
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities
  • Entry-level knowledge in computer hardware and software technology
