Position Overview: As a Unit Manager/Director - RN, you will collaborate with the Director of Nursing to ensure the delivery of exceptional care while fostering positive clinical outcomes and satisfaction among patients, residents, families, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and direct the overall operations and coordination of nursing and patient/resident care within the assigned unit.
  • Ensure that care delivery aligns with the mission, vision, values, and policies of Clovis Healthcare and Rehab Center, adhering to established standards of practice, state and federal regulations, and licensing requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with nursing staff, physicians, rehabilitation therapists, and other professionals to achieve optimal outcomes for patients in the assigned unit.
  • Manage human resources within the unit, including minimizing overtime and agency personnel usage, recruiting and orienting new staff, evaluating nursing staff performance, and implementing disciplinary actions when necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing school, with a BSN preferred.
  • Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing is required.
  • A minimum of three years of full-time or equivalent clinical experience is preferred, with at least two years in long-term care and one year in a management or supervisory role.
