Job Summary:

The Hardware Engineer is responsible for the setup and maintenance of the hardware environment, identifying and resolving related engineering issues, and ensuring timely product delivery.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in R&D, manufacturing, and customer support.
  • Analyze and resolve engineering issues in a timely manner.
  • Work with R&D to identify and resolve root causes of failures.
  • Manage and guide the transition of products into production.
  • Review and guide troubleshooting and repair direction.
Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Operate oscilloscopes and digital multimeters.
  • Solder wire and rework PCB boards.
  • Check circuit schematic and layout files using Allegro tool.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and diligence.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • High emotional intelligence skills.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficiency with or ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talent management systems.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience.
  • Knowledge of server/storage/PC hardware architecture.
  • Demonstrated analytical critical thinking skills and communication skills.
  • Experience working in manufacturing and/or product development role.
  • Firsthand lab debug experience with scopes is desirable.
  • Experience in designing circuit boards is desirable.
