Job Responsibilities and QualificationsWe are in search of a dedicated Critical Care Registered Nurse for our Surgical ICU. In this role, you will provide clinical expertise to ensure that all patients receive high-quality, efficient care in a demanding environment. We value teamwork and are looking for a remarkable individual who shares our commitment to patient care.
Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop care plans, implement interventions, and evaluate the care of critically ill patients.
- Educate patients and their families on medications and treatment protocols.
- Maintain and review patient records, including test results and examination findings.
- Administer medications according to physician directives.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid Florida Registered Nurse license or appropriate compact licensure, with active FL RN license required within 60 days of hire if compact license is held.
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
- Prior experience in an acute care setting is strongly preferred.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
- ACLS certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire/transfer.
- NIHSS certification is required within 6 months of hire/transfer.
- Strong critical thinking, service excellence, and interpersonal communication skills are essential.
