Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for critically ill patients.
- Educate patients and families on medication and treatment plans.
- Maintain and update patient records, including test results.
- Administer medications according to physician directives.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid Florida Registered Nurse license or appropriate compact licensure.
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
- Prior experience in an acute care environment is highly desirable.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association is mandatory.
- ACLS certification required within six months of hire.
- NIHSS certification required within six months of hire.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.
