Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Imaging Coordinator to join our team at ChristianaCare. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the daily activities in the Document Imaging area, ensuring timely processing of records, and maintaining accurate records management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily Document Imaging functions and delegate work assignments to the Document Imaging staff.
  • Monitor the location of records in the chart tracking system and volume of batches to be indexed in the work queue manager.
  • Document and inform appropriate staff and management of issues or concerns.
  • Collaborate with the HIMS MPI team to correct images in the EHR.
  • Validate and complete requests for corrections to scanned images stored in the electronic document imaging system.
  • Quality check scanned patient records for accurate indexing of documents and scanned image quality.
  • Assist in training/cross training employees and provide input on performance appraisals.
Requirements
  • High School Graduate or Equivalent, preferably with college credits.
  • Minimum of 2 years of document imaging experience, preferably in an HIM department.
