About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team at Bush Veterinary Neurology Service in Rockville, MD. As a key member of our neurology team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, assisting with surgical procedures, and working closely with our board-certified neurologists to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional patient care, including venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and medication administration
  • Assist with surgical procedures, including anesthesia and post-operative care
  • Work closely with our neurology team to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Collaborate with other hospital staff to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medical advancements
Requirements
  • Current and active Veterinary Technician License in Maryland or eligibility for licensure
  • At least two years of experience as a Registered Veterinary Technician or one year as a Veterinary Assistant
  • Extensive experience with anesthesia, venipuncture, and catheters
  • Excellent communication, patient care, and customer service skills
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
