Job Description

Clean Energy Credit Union is a leading provider of clean energy loans, dedicated to promoting a sustainable future for our members and the environment. We are seeking a highly skilled Member Services Representative to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional member service, including transaction processing, escalation resolution, and answering questions via phone, email, and chat.
  • Support members through back-office operations and maintain a high level of knowledge about our products and services.
  • Essential duties and responsibilities include:
    • Providing prompt, professional, accurate service and support to all members and associates.
    • Receiving and servicing inbound calls, emails, and chats.
    • Within established levels of authority, providing overrides, processing transactions, resolving problems, and answering questions regarding account issues and Credit Union products and services.
    • Maintaining member account information and performing all types of account maintenance, including fraud claims, business account maintenance, and decedent account maintenance.
    • Cultivating and maintaining appropriate relationships with members and co-workers.
    • Ensuring operational procedures are followed and that the Credit Union is following proper policies and procedures for transactions and audits.
    • Ensuring up-to-date knowledge of products and services by attending required training, retaining notifications of changes, and familiarity with all account disclosures.

  • Advance skills in Microsoft Office products and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Understanding and compliance with all annual mandated training, including Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering/OFAC/Cybersecurity/Diversity & Anti-Harassment/Fair Lending.
  • Attention to detail, ensuring consistency with all related information available and holding to regulatory standards.
  • Detailed knowledge of the credit union's products, services, policies, and procedures.
  • Driving for results, setting high goals for personal and group accomplishment and deriving satisfaction from achievement and continuous improvement.
  • Data analysis, gathering, manipulating, processing, and evaluating numeric data to guide credit union decisions.

  • Service excellence, taking actions and developing relationships necessary to meet and exceed member needs.
  • Communication, possessing and utilizing compelling written and verbal communication skills.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • 1+ years of experience at a bank or credit union, in a similar position preferred.
