Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitizing Guest Rooms: Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms on a regular schedule, daily, to ensure a high level of cleanliness and comfort for our guests.
  • Remove Trash and Dirty Linen: Remove all trash and dirty linen from public spaces, hallways, and rooms to maintain a clean and tidy environment.
  • Maintain Public Areas: Keep all hallways, public areas, and closets clean, neat, and vacuumed to ensure a positive guest experience.
  • Restock Cleaning Supplies: Restock cart with cleaning and sanitization supplies, such as bleach, mops, wipes, and brooms, to ensure that all areas are properly equipped.
  • Report Maintenance Repairs: Report any maintenance repairs immediately to the Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager to ensure that any issues are addressed promptly.
  • Meet Cleaning Standards: Clean and sanitize according to CDC and brand standards to ensure a high level of cleanliness and comfort for our guests.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field is preferred.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
  • Communication Skills: Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all levels of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
