Job Summary:

The Field Manager is responsible for overseeing the construction of assigned homes in the community, ensuring compliance with SheaHomes' customer satisfaction and quality assurance standards. This role requires strong leadership and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and direct all field activities and reporting functions associated with new home construction.
  • Provide leadership and coordination of all activities within the new home construction process.
  • Ensure compliance with SheaHomes' customer satisfaction and quality assurance standards.
  • Maintain a safe work environment and champion the SheaHomes for Active Adults safety program.
  • Manage and resolve customer issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Coordinate schedule with overall teams' schedule on a daily basis and maintain projected milestones and delivery date.
  • Deliver a defect-free home to the customer and ensure all homes meet or exceed minimum quality standards.
  • Participate in monthly safety training program and ensure all TradePartners and suppliers adhere to safety protocols.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with government agencies and inspectors.
  • Manage and track options, including updating options tracking notebook and files daily and verifying options selection with homeowner at Construction Welcome Meeting (CWM) and Pre-Drywall Orientation (PDO).

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; BA/ BS degree preferred.
  • Advanced computer skills and knowledge of Shea Operating systems.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
