About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Front Desk/Host to join our team at Dave & Buster's. As a Front Desk/Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm and welcoming experience that sets the tone for their visit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional guest service, ensuring a positive and memorable experience for all visitors.
  • Act as an ambassador for the building, greeting guests with a smile and enthusiasm, and coordinating game rentals, merchandise sales, and telephones.
  • Manage the front desk and host station, maintaining a clean and organized environment, and ensuring all menus are stocked and properly cleaned and maintained.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card payments, and gift card sales.
  • Assist other team members as needed, providing support and ensuring seamless service delivery.
  • Monitor and manage wait times, communicating information to guests, team members, and managers as needed.
  • Deliver silverware to guests as they are seated, and ensure timely and accurate calculations of bill transactions.
  • Complete "To Go" order transactions for guests and ensure accuracy.
  • Sell merchandise from the front desk, if applicable.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a retail, restaurant, or customer service role preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds, and stand for long periods of time.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
