Job Summary

LifeView Group is seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Specialist to join our team. As a Behavioral Health Specialist, you will provide clinical support to adults and children receiving substance abuse, mental health services, or co-occurring disorders in residential programs, inpatient settings, day/evening programs, outpatient programs, and/or community-based programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish a positive helping relationship with persons receiving services.
  • Assist persons receiving services to complete activities of daily living, including accessing needed resources, and building functional, pro-social relationships with others.
  • Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of persons receiving services.
  • Monitor and document the person's progress.

Requirements

  • At least one (1) year of experience working directly with seriously emotionally disturbed children or completed one year (24 hours) of college classes.
  • Must be able to provide individualized, integrated mental health, substance abuse, and co-occurring services to meet the needs of individuals served and their families, as required.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license from the state in which you reside, a good driving record, and be insurable under the corporate policy.
