We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team at Brookville Center for Children's Services. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping children with special needs achieve their full potential.
Job Summary:The Physical Therapist will be responsible for evaluating and treating children with physical disabilities, developmental delays, and other special needs. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote physical growth, development, and independence.
Responsibilities:- Evaluate and treat children with physical disabilities, developmental delays, and other special needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote physical growth, development, and independence
- Work closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and support
- Communicate effectively with children, families, and other healthcare professionals
- Document progress and maintain accurate records
- Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in New York State
- Minimum one year of experience working with children with special needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
