Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a personal financial advocate, reviewing member information, evaluating member needs, and suggesting opportunities that best meet their needs.
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of all Credit Union products and services and be able to communicate them effectively to members.
  • Develop relationships as a single point of contact for appropriate members and ensure their ongoing satisfaction with the Credit Union.
  • Meet target services, deposit, loan, and membership sales goals as required.
  • Provide meaningful member feedback concerning Credit Union products and services.
  • Demonstrate use of skills learned in Integrity Selling to attract and retain loyal members.
  • Perform outbound sales and follow-up calls to meet sales and services standards.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in the areas of consumer lending, deposit services, including IRA, POA, Trust Accounts, Business Accounts, etc.
  • Interview, discuss, and accurately process memberships, consumer loan applications, and account-related maintenance.
  • Counsel members on the advantages and costs of credit union products (Wealth Management Services, MRC, Gap, and Debt Protection).
  • Counsel members in other financial areas such as general credit matters and how to build credit or repair credit.
  • Research and resolve member complaints, questions, and inquiries.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong understanding of financial products and services, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
