Job Title: Pediatrician (MD/DO)

One Community Health - CA is seeking a highly skilled Pediatrician (MD/DO) to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Pediatrician (MD/DO) will provide high-quality medical care to patients in an outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to patient-centered care, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct pediatric medical management to patients in an outpatient setting.
  • Rotate on-call coverage of pediatric medical management issues.
  • Communicate effectively with referring providers, patients, and family members regarding medical management plans, clinical progress, and prognosis.
  • Participate in professional development through education and mentorship of ancillary staff and other allied professionals.
  • Coordinate and/or participate in integrated specialty and subspecialty consultations and interdisciplinary care conferences as needed.
  • Participate in strategic planning, oversight, and quality improvement initiatives of facilities and programs as directed by the Company.
Requirements:
  • Licensed physician with the State of California required.
  • 3 years Residency training in Pediatrics.
  • Must have current DEA number.
  • Two plus years related experience preferred; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Good computer skills, including MS Office, preferred.
  • Valid California Driver's license with insurable driving record.
Preferred Background:
  • Demonstrated person-centered approach and familiarity with trauma-informed systems and restorative practices.
  • Understanding of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
  • Several years of FQHC or community health center practice experience preferred.
