Position Overview:

A healthcare provider in Sacramento is looking for a skilled Pediatrician to deliver outstanding medical services to children. The ideal candidate will be a flexible and cooperative physician dedicated to providing equitable healthcare to diverse populations, particularly those who are underserved and underinsured. This role encompasses the full spectrum of pediatric medicine to address the varied health and social requirements of patients.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Graduated from an accredited medical institution with an MD or DO degree
  • Possession of a valid California state medical license
  • Completion of an accredited residency in Family Practice or Internal Medicine
  • Current DEA certification
  • Board certification or eligibility in primary care
  • Valid CPR certification

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct patient care, including preventive services, primary diagnosis, treatment, and inpatient care as necessary.
  • Gather and assess a patient’s medical history, documenting findings accurately and systematically.
  • Conduct physical examinations and differentiate between normal and abnormal results.
  • Provide routine health assessments, diagnostic services, and treatment for illnesses and emergencies.
  • Uphold the highest standards of medical ethics.
  • Ensure quality healthcare for all patients.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
