Junior Process Engineer

Join Roush Yates Racing Engines as a Junior Process Engineer and play a vital role in shaping our manufacturing processes. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating detailed manufacturing plans, ensuring optimal efficiency, and overseeing the entire lifecycle of parts processing.
Responsibilities:- Estimate manufacturing process utilizing ERP system to meet customer's RFQ.
- Review and define manufacturing requirements based on customer purchase order, flow downs, and drawing requirements.
- Interface with Quality, CNC Programmer, and Sales regarding work order routings, operations, and material requirements.
- Disposition nonconformances that occur during the manufacturing process for assigned parts/projects.
- Define IPC (In-Process Checklist) checks for machinist to record dimensions for a given manufacturing operation.
- Successfully manage the launch of new projects/parts.
- Data entry into multiple ERP systems (ProShop and Sage X3).
- Maintain the structure and integrity of the manufacturing engineer's folders, including model and print management.
- Engage with Customers in regards to the technical aspect of the manufacturing process.
- Submit Customer approval documentation per Customer PO requirements.
- Maintain engineering change records.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. Engineering Degree preferred.
- Tech school or equivalent CNC manufacturing experience preferred.
- Familiarization with blueprints and tolerancing preferred.
- Extensive manufacturing knowledge ranging from machining, coatings (CHEM-FILM, Paint, Anodize, etc.), assembly, and various other special processes.
- Demonstrated skills and experience in developing manufacturing plans and timelines.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must possess a keen sense of attention to detail.
- Microsoft office experience (Outlook, Excel, Word) and overall mid to advanced level computer experience.
