Patient Care Technician, Surgical Step Down, 36 Hours

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Care Technician to join our team at Boston Medical Center's Surgical Step Down unit. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct clinical and support services to our patients and their families.
Responsibilities- Perform a variety of delegated patient care interventions, including vital sign monitoring, bathing, and feeding.
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families.
- Contribute to the efficient operation of the Critical Care department, ensuring quality patient/family clinical outcomes.
- A high school diploma or GED certificate.
- Certification in basic life support (BLS), including CPR certification.
- Ability to pass clinical competency testing.
- Physical ability to meet job responsibilities.
- Basic math and computer proficiency.
