Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Sales Strategies: Create and implement sales plans to achieve business objectives and expand market share in Japan.
  • Build and Maintain Relationships: Foster strong relationships with key accounts, agents, distributors, and brokers to drive sales growth and expand business opportunities.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the Japanese market.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective problem-solving and communication.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reports and analysis to management on sales performance, market trends, and business opportunities.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • Experience: 5+ years of relevant sales experience in retail or foodservice meat trade, with a minimum of 2 years of team management/development or project leadership experience.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to negotiate pricing and contracts, and proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Travel: Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
