Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States Repertoire Immune Medicines Full time
Job Overview

Company Background
Repertoire Immune Medicines is a pioneering biotechnology firm dedicated to harnessing the extraordinary capabilities of the human immune system to combat cancer, autoimmune disorders, and infectious diseases. The foundation of our company lies in the conviction that a deep understanding of T cell receptor (TCR)-antigen immune synapses is crucial for driving innovation in medical science. Our scientists have developed the DECODETM platform, which facilitates comprehensive characterization of TCR-antigen interactions, enabling the creation of groundbreaking targeted immune therapies that can effectively reprogram the immune system to eliminate tumors or restore immune balance.

With operations in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and Zurich, Switzerland, our team is advancing a portfolio of DECODE-enabled immune therapies, including TCR bispecifics and mRNA cancer vaccines aimed at treating solid tumors, as well as mRNA tolerizing vaccines for autoimmune conditions.

Position Summary
We are in search of a dedicated Research Associate II/Senior Research Associate to join our Protein Engineering and Molecular Sciences Team. This role focuses on supporting the analytical and biophysical quality control of TCR bispecifics and MHC proteins, along with the development of analytical assays for technology transfer to manufacturing. The ideal candidate will possess practical experience with techniques such as size exclusion HPLC, SDS-PAGE, DSF, ELISA, and/or Octet/SPR. The selected individual will engage in hands-on quality control of TCR bispecifics and MHC proteins, conduct stability and developability assessments to prioritize therapeutic candidates, and create robust assays for technology transfer to manufacturing partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform analytical and biophysical quality control of protein batches (analytical SEC, PAGE, DSF, Octet/SPR, ELISA).
  • Develop and document reliable analytical assays for technology transfer to manufacturing partners.
  • Conduct comparability, developability, and accelerated stability assessments of leading therapeutic candidates.
  • Capture primary data, establish and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), and document work in the Electronic Laboratory Notebook (ELN), ensuring records are current.
  • Present data regularly to the Protein Sciences group and other multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications/Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biochemistry, Biology, Bioengineering, Immunology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an academic or biotech/pharmaceutical laboratory setting.
  • Familiarity with HPLC systems and biochemical assays such as ELISA, SDS-PAGE, and DSF.
  • Experience with Octet, SPR, or flow cytometry is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
  • A collaborative mindset, thriving in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Repertoire is committed to social responsibility and fostering an inclusive culture. Just as the immune system's power is rooted in the diversity of T and B cells, our work thrives on the creativity and ingenuity of a diverse workforce. We actively pursue equity in all aspects of the work experience at Repertoire and are dedicated to educating ourselves about societal inequities and barriers, taking action where we can make a difference.

Repertoire is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
