CompensationWe offer an attractive salary range of $23.50 - $24.00/hr, which reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. Your compensation may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Home Health Hospice Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing personal care services to patients, including:
- Providing assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assisting with transfers, ambulation, and positioning
- Preparing nutritious meals and assisting with feeding
- Performing homemaking and other environmental services as assigned
You will also be responsible for observing, reporting, and documenting any changes in patient status, and following specific written instructions for personal care prepared by a registered nurse in accordance with the plan of care.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you must have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Current state certification (or registration) as a nurse assistant as per state certification/registration requirements
- CNA experience within the last two years
- The ability to successfully pass the competency program of the care center
- Current CPR certification
