About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Tube Bending Operator PM to join our team at Steico Industries, a leading manufacturer of precision tube and duct assemblies for the aerospace industry.

As a Tube Bending Operator PM, you will be responsible for processing parts within the Bend department, including pressure testing of tubing, aqueous cleaning, and running parts within the bend cells.

You will use a variety of equipment, including saws, end finishers, CNC tube benders, aqueous tanks, and pressure testing equipment, to perform these duties.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Daily and monthly aqueous clean maintenance
  • Aqueous cleaning of parts
  • Polishing parts to remove blemishes using a pneumatic braider
  • Performing pressure testing of tubes to relieve stress and relax tubes
  • Checking and measuring tubes to customer specifications after pressure testing
  • Reading and following travelers for routing jobs to the next area/racks
  • Trimming, facing, and deburring parts in production cells
  • Restocking supplies for the department using the Kanban supply process
  • Inspecting, maintaining, and logging preventative maintenance on equipment in the area

Requirements include:

  • No experience required
  • High School diploma or General Education Completion
  • Mechanical aptitude a plus
  • General knowledge of saws and pneumatic tools
