Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at SNCH. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiopulmonary care and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic cardiopulmonary evaluations and respiration therapy treatments
  • Assess, evaluate, diagnose, and care for patients with breathing disorders
  • Operate and maintain ventilators/BiPAP
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care

Qualifications

  • Graduate of AMA accredited Therapist program with a minimum 2 year AAS degree in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent
  • 1 year of clinical experience preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively
  • Computer proficiency and ability to operate equipment

Working Conditions

  • Ability to walk/stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift, bend, and carry equipment
  • Ability to push mobile equipment throughout hospital
  • Manual dexterity to operate equipment
