About the Role

Family Service League Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning Specialist to join our administrative team. As a key member of our financial department, you will play a crucial role in supporting our organization's financial planning and analysis processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the development and implementation of our annual and multi-year operating plans, as well as our capital plan.
  • Design and maintain financial forecasting models to provide insights into our financial performance.
  • Monitor position control and provide regular budget versus actual reports to management.
  • Assist in the preparation of detailed financial performance reports, including forecasts for profit and loss and cash flow.
  • Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
  • Prepare grant and contract claims to various funding sources as required.
  • Develop and maintain reports from our financial system.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis of data using our financial system.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Budget Analyst, preferably in a non-profit environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including strong Excel skills.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and databases, with the ability to write data extraction queries.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
