Job Overview

The EP Device Clinic Registered Nurse position independently performs device interrogation, programming, and remote transmission under the supervision of TriHealth Heart Institute Physicians. This role requires a high degree of initiative and ingenuity, with a focus on providing education to patients regarding their device, home monitor, and triaging patient calls with device-related issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plans care for participants and family based on assessment, standards of care, and optimal outcomes.
  • Initiates and individualizes appropriate patient care guidelines.
  • Maintains current plan of care by updating as needed.
  • Educates patients with resources pertaining to device function, disease process, and treatment plans.
  • Assesses device functions in the office and remotely.
  • Assesses, implements, and communicates device adjustments per patient needs and physician orders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS).
  • Registered Nurse.
  • Current Ohio licensure.
  • Knowledge of the specialty or population served.
  • Ability to work effectively on a multi-disciplinary team.
  • 1-2 years experience in Nursing.
