Medication Assistant

WC Health is seeking a skilled Medication Technician to join our team.
Job Summary:The Medication Technician will be responsible for assisting residents with managing and administering their medications, documenting administration times, and monitoring compliance. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be organized, and have a strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist residents with managing and administering their medications
- Document administration times and monitor compliance
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff regarding medication concerns and issues
- Order and receive medications and supplies, ensuring they are always available
- Maintain a clean and organized medication room
- Report concerns and issues to supervisors
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 12 months experience administering medications preferred but not required
- Proficient communication in verbal and written English
- Good organizational and documentation skills
- Good telephone skills
- Must pass background check and drug test
- One year experience as a med tech in a long term care facility, sober living, or transitional housing
- Bilingual
- Behavioral health experience
