About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant 2 to join our team at CenterWell Senior Primary Care. As a key member of our integrated care team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting our mission to put health first.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to our clinical team, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and performing various administrative tasks.
  • Assist with clinical duties such as taking vital signs, giving injections, performing diagnostic tests, and collecting specimens.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Deliver direct patient care dependent on your active certification and work within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards.
Requirements
  • 3 years of Medical Assistant experience in direct patient care.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Less than 2 years of leadership experience.
  • Must be a team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in a fast-paced/high-volume environment.
  • Experience with MS Outlook and basic computer knowledge.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Bilingual.
  • Hands-on professional Phlebotomy experience.
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records.
  • Experience with HEDIS.
