About the Role

United Cerebral Palsy of Central Florida Inc. is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an After School Enrichment Program Assistant. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children with and without disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and deliver daily enrichment activities, including arts, music, and STEM programs, to a group of 12-18 students.
  • Supervise and engage with students, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Implement effective classroom management strategies to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Communicate with parents and guardians through our digital platform, Brightwheel.
  • Perform basic caregiving duties, such as changing diapers and feeding children, while maintaining universal health and safety precautions.
  • Collaborate with the Site Coordinator to address any concerns or issues that may arise.

Requirements
  • Associate's degree or college credits preferred; minimum high school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt to diverse learning styles and needs.
