About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Environmental, Health and Safety professional to join our global team. As an experienced EOSH Management System Associate, you will support efforts to implement, certify, continuously improve, and sustain an Environmental and Occupational Safety & Health management system based on ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.

This role involves working closely with teams and functions to develop and optimize EOSH management system processes, tools, and documentation according to internal timelines and in alignment with operational companies. Key responsibilities include conducting internal EOSH Management System audits, coordinating and participating in certification and surveillance audits, providing technical expertise to reduce global risks, and advising plants on integrating the EOSH Management System with existing or future Management Systems.

Key requirements for this position include a Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, engineering, or related field, along with a minimum of three years' experience implementing, optimizing, and sustaining ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems. Experience applying risk-based decision-making, creating and presenting data and metrics, and working within project timelines and practices is also essential.

In terms of salary, we offer a competitive compensation package ranging from $80,000 to $134,000 per year, depending on education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Additionally, roles above $150k are eligible for a variable pay program each fiscal year, based on defined business performance metrics.

Responsibilities:
  • Create, implement, and optimize Gore's EOSH management system processes, tools, and documentation.
  • Conduct internal EOSH Management System audits.
  • Coordinate and participate in EOSH management system certification and surveillance audits.
  • Provide Occupational Health and Safety technical expertise to reduce global risks.
  • Advise and assist plants with integrating the EOSH Management System with existing or future Management Systems.
