Job Summary

Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a skilled Medical Professional to join our team in the Division of Adolescent & Young Adult Medicine (DAYAM). This role will engage adolescents and young adults in clinical care under the guidance of a physician and Advance Practice Nurse (APN).

Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care according to Rutgers protocols and policies, as well as professional standards from reputable medical associations.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including OSHA, CLIA, Title X, CDC, DEA, and the New Jersey Department of Public Health.
  • Work collaboratively with clinic staff and managers to contribute to a positive work environment.
Requirements

This position requires:

  • Possession of a valid registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of New Jersey.
  • Phlebotomy and physical assessment skills are essential.
  • A thorough working knowledge of regulatory requirements and Good Clinical Practices guidelines.
  • Cultural sensitivity to work with diverse populations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent research skills.
  • Proficiency in EPIC.
  • Prior experience working with adolescent and young adult populations, particularly those requiring family planning and prevention strategies.
Compensation and Benefits
