Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Safety Systems Specialist to join our team. As a Fire Safety Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for the installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of kitchen fire suppression systems and fire extinguishers. You will work on-site to support both commercial and residential kitchens, handling various tasks from system setup to routine maintenance.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Installation and Setup: Install new kitchen fire suppression systems and fire extinguishers according to manufacturer specifications, local safety regulations, and NFPA codes.
  • Inspection and Maintenance: Conduct thorough inspections of fire extinguishers in accordance with NFPA 10 and kitchen extinguishing systems per NFPA 17-17A and UL 300.
  • Repair and Troubleshooting: Diagnose and perform on-site emergency troubleshooting of fire suppression systems.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely inspection reports.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certifications: Certification or coursework in fire suppression systems or fire protection is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a professional attitude.
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting and moving equipment over 50 lbs.
