Staff Accountant Opportunity

At LHH Recruitment Solutions, we are partnering with a prominent firm in Fort Worth, TX, to find a skilled Staff Accountant to join their team.

About the Role

The Staff Accountant will be responsible for managing accounts payable and receivables, general ledger entries, reconciliations, and assisting with month-end close.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare journal entries and reconcile bank and general ledger accounts.
  • Analyze account balances and activities, and assist with month-end and year-end close.
  • Review profit and loss statements and provide necessary support for external reviews and audits.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, and assist the Controller with ad-hoc reporting and special projects.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • Minimum of 1+ year of relevant accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
