Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Patient Service Representative to join our team at RadNet. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring a seamless experience for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Registration and Scheduling: Greet and register patients in a friendly and service-oriented manner, obtain or verify proper insurance and patient information, and collect signatures and ensure accuracy and completion of necessary documentation.
  • Communication and Coordination: Answer/transfer incoming phone calls, schedule, reschedule or cancel new or current patients, confirm appointments and notify staff of changes when necessary.
  • Patient Orientation and Support: Give patients appropriate orientation for preparatory and safety protocols, and provide directions to facilities if needed.
  • Back-Office Coordination: Coordinate with the back-office staff for timely and effective care of patients.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED
  • Technical Skills: Intermediate to advanced computer skills
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong multitasking and communication skills, ability to demonstrate effective and professional communication, interpersonal skills and respect with patients, guests & colleagues
  • Experience: Experience providing exceptional customer service, medical terminology knowledge and recent medical/radiology office experience is preferred.
