Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Guest Service Associate/Cashier to join our team. As a Guest Service Associate/Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service to all guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Operate a cash register, handling cash, credit card transactions, and other forms of payment.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including sweeping and mopping floors, emptying trash containers, and restocking shelves.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise, and checking product for quality and accuracy.
- Perform light equipment maintenance, including cleaning and troubleshooting issues with store equipment.
- Participate in merchandising efforts, including setting up displays and maintaining visual appeal.
- Communicate effectively with associates and guests, providing clear and concise information and responding to questions and concerns.
- Count, read, and write accurately to complete required paperwork and perform other tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Wear the required store uniform and maintain a professional appearance.
- Be available to work weekend, evening shifts, and holidays as needed.
- Have reliable transportation to and from work.
- Attend mandatory meetings, including training sessions and team meetings.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent bending, reaching, lifting of 1 to 15 lbs.
- Be able to lift up to 50lbs on occasion.
- Reach above shoulder height and bend below waist.
- Be able to freely access all areas of the store.
- Move quickly around the store.
