The Sales Specialist is a dedicated professional tasked with promoting and leasing a senior living community. The ideal candidate will develop and implement a strategic sales plan, manage their sales pipeline, create urgency among potential clients, and navigate the sales process to achieve optimal occupancy and revenue objectives.

Essential Qualifications for a Sales Specialist:

  • Demonstrated experience in sales with a history of meeting and surpassing sales targets
  • Familiarity with the senior living market and its various offerings is advantageous but not mandatory. We welcome applications from all successful sales professionals
  • A passion for engaging with seniors, understanding their needs, and facilitating their transition into our communities
  • Strong sales instincts with the ability to close deals while showing empathy for clients
  • Effective time management skills
  • High levels of initiative, creativity, sound judgment, and professional integrity
  • Strong leadership capabilities to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Proven problem-solving abilities; capable of identifying solutions for clients
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce is preferred
  • Willingness to travel as necessary

Key Responsibilities of a Sales Specialist:

  • Oversees all occupancy and revenue targets for the community
  • Utilizes Salesforce to effectively manage sales pipelines, conversion rates, and move-in statistics
  • Adheres to Fair Housing and Federal Trade Commission regulations
  • Identifies new opportunities to enhance our referral network
  • Conducts daily outreach to prospective clients to arrange visits and tours
  • Manages the leasing center during the construction phase
  • Conducts tours of model or available apartments for prospective residents and referral sources
  • Assists with marketing strategies and resident engagement events
  • Acts as an educational resource for residents, caregivers, and staff
  • Promotes the organization positively and exemplifies our standards of excellence
  • Maintains effective communication and collaboration throughout the community
  • Coordinates occupancy goals and manages resident/prospect information
  • Prepares and oversees all relevant reports
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or non-traditional hours as required
