Job Summary

Le CYR Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Electrophysiology Specialist to join our team. As an Electrophysiology Specialist, you will be responsible for performing routine diagnostic studies and services, adhering to safety policies and procedures, and determining if any special patient preparation is required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Routine Diagnostic Studies: Conduct electroencephalographic and evoked potential studies, as well as neurophysiological intraoperative monitoring and long-term monitoring.
  • Adhere to Safety Policies and Procedures: Ensure compliance with MTF policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Determine Special Patient Preparation: Assess patient needs and determine if any special preparation is required for diagnostic studies.
  • Modify Recording Strategy and Instrument Parameters: Adjust recording strategies and instrument parameters to ensure complete, comprehensive, and technically satisfactory studies.
  • Process Studies and Submit to Physicians: Process and submit studies to requesting physicians in a timely manner.
  • Document Procedures and Maintain Records: Document all procedures and maintain records in accordance with established policies.
  • Perform System Calibrations and Quality Control: Perform system calibrations and quality control tasks as directed by management.
  • Recognize Emergency Situations: Recognize the need for emergency measures and institute necessary procedures in situations where a person requires resuscitation.
Requirements
  • Degree: Certificate in the specialty area identified in the TO.
  • Certification: Certified by the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET) in the specialty identified in the TO.
  • Experience: One year of experience in the specialty area identified in the TO.
