Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Assistant to join our team at Peoplelink Staffing Solutions. As a Production Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production Operations: Assist in setting up and packaging CAT parts according to instructions contained in the Parts Work Order (PWO) to meet turnaround and quality standards.
- Quality Control: Count and pack finished CAT parts, ensuring accuracy and quality of packaged parts.
- Shipping and Receiving: Ensure correct paperwork is tagged on shipping material and construct shipping containers to supply daily production demands.
- Material Handling: Cut CAT metered stock material.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Training and Development: Train new employees on work procedures.
- Team Collaboration: Work in other production areas as needed and maintain a professional, respectful relationship with consumers, co-workers, and supervisors at all times.
Working Conditions:
The physical requirements of this role include lifting, bending, walking, pulling, pushing, and standing for long periods of time. The environmental conditions include working indoors around dust, cardboard, and moving equipment. Interpersonal factors may include listening to consumer complaints and giving verbal encouragement of proper work habits.
