Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies that acquire new Developers and improve adoption of Developer tools and products.
- Develop clear and cohesive messaging that lands the value proposition and resonates with key audience segments.
- Gain an in-depth understanding of the Developer ecosystem, including its competitive and partnership landscape, to inform go-to-market strategy and key narratives.
- Be the expert on our target audience segments and act as the internal champion for the customer, ensuring their needs guide our marketing strategies and inform our product roadmap.
- Develop content strategies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver the right content to meet the user's needs at each phase of their journey.
- 7+ years of product marketing experience, including 3+ years with a Developer audience.
- A deep empathy for Developers and passion for Discord's mission and the role Developers play in the growth of the business.
- A strategic thinker with a bias for action, able to connect dots and create clarity in an often ambiguous environment.
- An exceptional communicator who creates clarity for internal and external customers through intentional, organized verbal and written communication.
- The ability to lead effectively through influence and comfortable working cross-functionally across the entire business.
- Stellar writing and content creation skills, including compelling video scripts and articles for user education.
- A growth mindset, constantly looking to expand tools and knowledge to become a better version of themselves.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $185,000 to $203,000 + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role and level, with individual pay influenced by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
