Your Responsibilities:

  • Familiarize yourself with company policies regarding work shifts, guest belongings, and privacy matters.
  • Perform cleaning duties in guest rooms and bathrooms, including bed-making and linen changes.
  • Manage waste disposal in guest rooms and public spaces.
  • Oversee nightly snow removal and grounds upkeep.
  • Restock toiletries and other amenities in guest accommodations.
  • Replace light bulbs and clean window sills, baseboards, and door frames.
  • Provide turndown service for guests, ensuring rooms are prepared for rest and any requested items are available.
  • Deliver towels, toiletries, and other requested items to guests upon check-in.
  • Maintain cleanliness in common areas of the facility, such as lobbies and stairwells.
  • Sanitize public spaces, including lounges, kitchens, and conference rooms.
  • Prepare rooms vacated by departing guests.
  • Conduct basic housekeeping tasks, including changing sheets, arranging towels, restocking supplies, vacuuming, dusting, and reorganizing rooms post-checkout.
  • Report and return any items left behind by guests during service.
  • Notify supervisors of any property damage in commercial areas.
  • Clean, disinfect, and store all equipment at the end of your shift.
  • Foster positive relationships with both employees and guests.
  • Assist housekeeping in transporting dirty and clean linens between rooms and laundry facilities.
  • Help maintain stocked housekeeping closets and supplies.
  • Transport linens from rooms to housekeeping closets or laundry facilities, which may involve navigating multiple flights of stairs.
  • Support housekeeping with basic cleaning tasks as needed.
  • Perform in-room preventive maintenance and post-checkout maintenance.
  • Assist the maintenance team with various projects.
  • Help with outdoor maintenance and repairs on the grounds and buildings.
  • Shovel and clear snow during winter months using shovels and snow blowers.
  • Monitor and report on the inventory of cleaning supplies.
  • Respond to housekeeping-related issues, such as spills and broken glass.
  • Collect and dispose of trash and debris.
  • Assist with laundry management, including washing, drying, and sorting linens.
  • Log and report all lost and found items.
  • Clean upholstered furniture as required.
  • Conduct detailed deep cleaning when necessary.
  • Ensure consistent adherence to service standards.
  • Provide support to guests in need.
  • Communicate effectively with all Gravity Haus teammates to create memorable guest experiences.
  • Act as a Gravity Haus Ambassador, actively participating in our mission and vision.
  • Build relationships within the Gravity Haus community.
  • Deliver an authentic and elevated guest experience with a focus on community, sustainability, and a proactive attitude.
  • Assist with miscellaneous kitchen, dining, and common area maintenance and cleaning.

Requirements:
Education and Experience:
Preferred experience of 1+ years in a relevant field.

Physical Requirements:
This role is physically demanding, requiring consistent movement and manual labor tasks, including:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Engagement in pushing, pulling, twisting, and bending movements.
  • Climbing ladders as necessary.
  • Shoveling snow when required.

Salary:
$20-$22 per hour.
