Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Associate to join our team at Embassy Suites by Hilton Colorado Springs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cleaning techniques and products, as well as excellent communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities include cleaning guest rooms, restrooms, and common areas, making beds, doing laundry, ironing sheets, and other general cleaning duties as assigned.

The successful candidate will be a team player, able to work independently and as part of a team, and will have a strong commitment to providing exceptional guest service.

Compensation: $15 - $16 hourly

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform cleaning duties and arrange guest rooms to our hotel's standard before guests arrive
  • Document rooms cleaned, and report lost and found items and any damage or repairs needed
  • Manage the cleanliness of common spaces such as the hallways, public restrooms, and hotel lobby
  • Reply to general questions guests have during their stay
  • Vacuum, mop, make beds, dust and polish furniture, stock rooms with toiletries, and do laundry as needed
Requirements
  • Good understanding of cleaning techniques and products
  • High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of experience as a professional housekeeper preferred
  • Hard worker with strong time management, organizational, and communication skills
