Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and strong leader to join our team as a Local Operations Manager. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing operations in assigned locations, managing a portfolio of properties, and developing relationships with owners to ensure their properties are clean, maintained, and well cared for.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee operations in assigned locations, managing a specific portfolio of properties
  • Develop and grow relationships with property owners, becoming the subject matter expert on their properties
  • Meet and maintain Vacasa standards and metrics, such as NPS, standard unit appearance, and efficiency
  • Manage a budget for your portfolio, adhering to set annual costs and performing cost-benefit analyses
  • Lead and manage an efficient and high-quality team, ensuring they are trained, effective, and adhere to all Vacasa policies and procedures
  • Support your team with escalated guest and homeowner concerns, responding to emails, calls, and tickets
  • Partner with Business Development Representatives to onboard new units to the portfolio
  • Perform light home maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs, fixing door hinges, and unclogging toilets
  • Establish and maintain open, collaborative relationships with fellow regional team members and upper management
  • Provide cross-coverage for your manager and Co-LOM(s) when necessary
  • Conduct regular inspections prior to guest and owner arrivals
  • Occasionally perform housekeeping and maintenance duties
Requirements
  • Technical computer skills required on all forms of hardware - laptops, tablets, and mobile devices
  • Availability to work Sunday through Saturday, early mornings, and evenings as needed
  • Professional communication skills, including email, phone calls, video calls, and texts
  • Ability to work well under pressure in an agile, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to change activity frequently and cope with interruptions
  • Highly responsive and reliable
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Prior housekeeping experience a plus
