Job Title: Health and Benefits Associate Director

At WTW inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Benefits Associate Director to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in designing and managing group medical, dental, wellbeing, disability, and time off plans for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and management of group benefits plans, including medical, dental, wellbeing, disability, and time off plans.
  • Serve as the lead project manager for clients, contributing to project plan creation and leading the team on delivery.
  • Provide superior client service, proactively advising clients on benefits and compensation strategies.
  • Facilitate specialist resources and subject matter experts in health management, absence, and disability management, pharmacy, data analytics, and compliance.
  • Review financial analyses, including developing pricing and employee contributions strategies, modeling plan design alternatives, and calculating reserves.
  • Support the generation of new business by participating in prospecting opportunities as part of a broader team.
  • Build relationships internally and collaborate effectively on cross-functional teams.
  • Lead the client team, assigning project roles and responsibilities, and ensuring accountability.
  • Mentor junior colleagues.
  • Conduct reviews of client deliverables to ensure alignment with client objectives, leverage of optimal WTW services and solutions, and adherence to WTW professional excellence standards.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in the design and management of complex health and welfare plans, gained in a consulting or brokerage environment or similar experience in a consultative role gained at a carrier or vendor.
  • Strong financial skills, with prior experience in health and welfare product pricing, underwriting, or valuation work preferred.
  • Ability to expand relationships with current clients.
  • Polished and well-developed oral and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility and proven ability to identify and resolve issues.
  • Strong analytical, creative, and integrative skills.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • State Life and Health license required within 90 days of joining.
  • CEBS designation or health and welfare actuarial or underwriting training desired.
  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred; high school diploma required.
Compensation and Benefits:

WTW inc. offers a competitive benefit package, including health and welfare benefits, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. The base salary compensation range for this role is $115,000-$150,000 USD per year, with an annual short-term incentive bonus. Eligibility requirements apply for benefits.
