We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Activities Director to join our team at Tutera Senior Living & Health Care. As an Activities Director, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing a program of activity and leisure pursuits designed to meet the social, spiritual, intellectual, emotional, educational, and physical needs and interests of residents in accordance with the comprehensive resident care plan.
Responsibilities:- Plan and implement a program of activities and leisure pursuits for residents
- Conduct social and recreational programs for residents
- Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, and staff
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a comprehensive approach to resident care
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the activities program
- Bachelor's degree in recreation therapy or related area
- Accreditation as a Certified Activities Director preferred
- Minimum of one year of experience as an Activities Director in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting
- Two years of experience conducting social and recreational programs within the past five years, one of which must be full-time in a resident activities program in a health care setting
- Professional image in both appearance and behavior
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
