About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled nursing professional to lead our nursing department. As Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the department, ensuring high-quality patient care, and promoting a positive work environment. You will work closely with the COO and other department leaders to achieve the hospital's goals and objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction to the nursing department, including business planning, organizing, and controlling the department's activities.
- Oversee a multi-unit department comprised of clinical and non-clinical staff, ensuring patient care meets accepted standards.
- Maintain collaborative relationships with other departments and provide consultation services as needed.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements, established policies and procedures, and quality standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing and RN licensure required.
- 5 years of Acute Care Nursing experience and 3 years of management experience.
- Critical Access Hospital experience preferred.
