Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Therapist to join our team at Sentara Careplex Hospital in Hampton, VA. This is a flexible day shift opportunity to cover holiday PTO, sick time, weekends, and holidays.

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.

About the Role:

This position involves assessing, planning, organizing, and participating in rehabilitative programs that improve speech, swallowing, language, voice, and fluency disorders. The ideal candidate will provide age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers, supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members.

  • Certified by American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) for Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • 1 year experience required for Resource Pool applicants
Qualifications:

A Master's level degree in Speech Pathology is required. Additional qualifications include Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Virginia.
