Job Title: Channel Sales Manager

Join our team as a Channel Sales Manager and play a key role in driving business growth through strategic partnerships with food distributors in the US and Canada.

About the Role:

The Channel Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing channel strategies to drive sales growth, improve market access, and enhance customer intimacy. This role requires a strong understanding of the food ingredient industry, excellent analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute channel strategies to drive sales growth and improve market access
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with food distributors and internal stakeholders
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure effective sales service, customer relations, product training, and promotional needs are met
  • Identify channel needs and work closely with Balchem teams to deliver marketable products and solutions
  • Monitor and report trends, competitive activity, product development, and market penetration
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required; technical degree and MBA preferred
  • Minimum 7 years of sales or product management experience required; strong preference for candidates with prior distribution/distribution management experience within the food ingredient industry
  • Strong business acumen and commercial mindset
  • Ability to establish strong working relationships with strategic partners
  • Excellent follow-up, strategy, and organizational skills
