Join SpaceX's Starlink Team as a Mechanical Design Engineer

At SpaceX, we're pushing the boundaries of space exploration and development. As a Mechanical Design Engineer on our Starlink team, you'll play a critical role in designing and developing the next generation of satellite systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop complex mechanical systems for our Starlink constellation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive system-level optimization and rapid iteration
  • Develop and implement design criteria and requirements to ensure high-quality products
  • Perform environmental and performance testing to validate analysis and demonstrate compliance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
  • Experience with CAD and FEA software packages
  • 1+ years of professional experience in mechanical design, analysis, testing, and/or manufacturing

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Master's degree in engineering or a related technical discipline
  • 3+ years of professional experience in mechanical design and analysis
  • 2+ years of hands-on project experience with complex mechanical systems
